Clinical Trials

Current clinical research opportunities at E2SMed. Our active study, the E2Spine Study, is investigating the use of a person’s own cells for chronic lower back pain.

Now Recruiting · Clinical Research Study

Do you have chronic lower back pain that has not improved with conservative treatments?

Researchers at E2SMed are inviting eligible individuals to take part in a clinical research study investigating the use of a person’s own cells, obtained from fat tissue, for chronic lower back pain. These cells include support cells from fat tissue and a proportion of stem cells.

What does participation involve?

1
An initial assessment to determine eligibility
2
Collection of cells from your own fat tissue using a minimally invasive liposuction procedure
3
Processing of these cells on the same day
4
Injection of the processed cells into the area of your lower back identified as a source of pain
5
Follow-up assessments over a period of up to 12 months

This study aims to evaluate the safety of this investigational treatment and its potential effects on symptoms of chronic lower back pain over time.

Please note: Participation in the study may or may not lead to individual benefit.
